Abstract
Abstrak Bangsa Indonesia saat ini mengalami krisis di berbagai bidang. Kondisi tersebut menjadi keprihatinan semua kalangan. Krisis karakter berkaitan erat dengan krisis budaya. Pendidikan karakter yang paling tepat adalah saat usia dini. Masa usia dini merupakan masa yang paling penting, disebut masa emas karena sel-sel otak anak mengalami peningkatan yang sangat pesat. 80 % pertumbuhan otak terjadi sejak anak lahir hingga 8 tahun. Para guru telah menerapkan pendidikan karakter di lembaga PAUD. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan, terdapat karakter anak yang masih membutuhkan perhatian serius dalam etika dan sosial. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal sebagai akar dari pembentukan karakter. Masyarakat Minangkabau menjunjung tinggi “adat basandi syara-, syara- basandi kitabullah”. Randai merupakan permainan sekaligus kesenian budaya Minangkabau sebagai gambaran identitas masyarakat yang sangat kuat dengan falsafah, etika, dan pelajaran yang berpusat pada alam. Randai dapat menjadi sarana pendidikan karakter sejak dini sekaligus untuk melestarikan budaya bangsa sendiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah studi literatur. This condition is a concern for all circles. Character crisis is closely related to cultural crisis. The most appropriate character education is at an early age. Early childhood is the most important period, called the golden age because the childs brain cells have increased very rapidly. 80% of brain growth occurs from child birth to 8 years. The teachers have implemented character education in PAUD institutions. From the results of the study found, there are characters of children who still need serious attention in ethics and social. The values of local wisdom as the root of character building. The Minangkabau people uphold the "adat basandi syara-, syara- basandi Kitabullah". Randai is a game as well as Minangkabau cultural art as a very strong picture of community identity with philosophy, ethics, and lessons centered on nature. Randai can be a means of character education from an early age as well as to preserve the culture of the nation itself. The method used in research is the study of literature. Abstract
The aim of this research is to develop a discrete story book model of discordant kurenah through literacy of the Minangkabau culture to form the early childhood character of the hobby in Group B. The development of the discrete story book Kurenah is carried out by connecting the main points of Minangkabau traditional teachings on 12 kinds of discordance, one of which is called SumbangBaleh duo in which there are discordant kurenah. Kurenah contributions are designed in the form of picture books so that they can be easily applied to young children. In addition, this discrete picture book of kurenah aims to introduce children early on to the teachings of culture, Minangkabau customs that gradually disappear began to be replaced by technological advances and story books that raise Minangkabau culture are still little published so that discordant books on kurenah can be used as a reference for educators in shaping the character of children from an early age. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development), using the Brog and Gall model. Judging from the results of this study the validation test conducted by an average validator obtained 90.81%. Teacher questionnaire responses obtained by an average of 81.8%, the value of childrens character formed 68.39%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the development of discordant story book models in shaping the character of early childhood is very valid, practical and effective. In other words, the use of the development of the SumbangKurenah picture book model can influence the character of children, and make a positive contribution to the learning process in group B in Bukittinggi-Agam.
